beta contech and the ikk held recently a workshop entitled “ techniques in safety measures” for the civil defense in riyadh, ksA. The workshop took place in june under the patronage of the General director of the in the kingdom Field marshal saad al Tuwaijari and was attended by senior officials of amongst was brigadier-General Sleiman el Amro, the Assistant of for operations. Group officials and officials from unitech and beta attended the meeting including Vice-Chairman of the Group mr. hassan kabbani, the General Manager of the Group Talal Dabbagh, deputy General of ksA saqib Altaf, Fahmi Abdul kad er of and others.
the workshop focused on the most up-to-date techniques to control fire and smoke using the highly developed products of STIsti (Sspecified Ttechnologies Iinc.), USusA which specializes in firestop products and solutions. Tthe implementation and the application of the products of were also demonstrated and discussed during the two-day-workshop.Ssenior officials from the Ccivil Ddefense were able to view closely these methods, and to evaluate the importance of using such techniques for general safety.At the end, honorary medals were presented to senior officials of the ministry to mark the event.
